Dr. Mihael Kline - professor from the Faculty of social sciences and the owner of the advertising agency Kline&Kline. "Kalidays is an essential part od training for young, new and eager authors, and through it they require a chance to make something for a real project, not just imagined ones."
Zmago Žnidaršič - festival winner '05. "The idea of this festival is a good one, because it focuses on the students, that are not jet employed in any agency, which is not the costum on other festivals, there if you are not a part of an agency you can't get in."
Igor Prošič - festival winner '05. "I think that this festival is interesting, easy to do, and in a creative way really thought through. I think this festival, is different from others, because it limits itself on the copywriting, which is just one of the areas in advertising. That can only add to the professionalism and to the increased quality of the briefs."
Dr. Zlatko Jančič - Profesor on the Faculty of social sciences and one of the attending experts at the first festival. "The purpose of this festival is to expand the horizons of creativity. At this stage of somebody's youth... or lets say it, at this period of forming of their professional careers, the free approach to things that Kalidays takes is perfectly legitimate. If you can't be free in your creativity as a young person, then you won't ever be. So one should start with as little burdens as possible, after all they will come with life."
Anton Šolar - festival winner '05. "I was hyped up about the festival when I first saw the poster and the web page. I was very pleased with its content, and as a winner of the festival I acquired the energy and desire to help the Kalidej company in organization of future festivals."
Zoran Gabrijan, creative director in the agency Futura DDB and a lector on the festival Kalidays '06. "Kalidays is special, because people only describe an idea, they do not submit the final project. So it is hard for us to judge such work, but I must admit that it is interesting, especially to see how people learn to describe their ideas, which they are going to need in the future."
